Applications open for “Data Stories”

Data Stories: Worldbuilding for Reclaiming Collective Agency Is School of Machines’ latest intensive program that so many lovely members of our community have put their love and care into. Thank you all!!! <3

To give some insight: each program we design is created from scratch by humans who first set out looking around and asking ourselves the questions: what is happening in the world right now? Not only with technology but equally with humans and the non-human world? Our programs then reflect what we’ve found.

In this case, Data Stories is an updated version of what previously was Data Cyborg Stories. Both programs desiring to explore and interrogate data, autonomy, stories, and truth. This version of the program allows for more case studies and more getting hands on with agentic AI through offline setups that you control.

We’re trying to help us all 1) come together 2) say who we are 3) question the tools while 4) learning the tools.
