Throwback Friday Lol

This video is from one of our favorite programs we've ever run called Winners and Losers! It was a four-week deep dive asking: what are the values hidden inside games and who put them there? It was led by the brilliant humans Niklas Roy and Kati Hyyppä in 2018 and we still think about it.

Games are one of the best ways to sneak big ideas into people's brains while they're having fun and we never get tired of exploring this. This July we're going back in, this time designing video games from scratch using software, hardware, and sound. Creating alt ctrl game design as feminist practice, questioning who games are made by, made for, and what they could become if we reimagined them entirely. Same spirit, new questions.
